The Residence Hotel Virgilio, is splendidly situated on the edge of the
lake and was inaugurated in the Spring of 1995. It has 21 luxuriously
furnished mini-apartments set in a beautiful garden with a swimming-pool,
private garages and lift. Each apartment is fully equipped with satellite
colour television, telephone, a fully equipped kitchen, safety deposit
box, individual heating and a furnished wide verandah with panoramic
views. The Residence Hotel Virgilio is only a few minutes from Sirmione,
which is internationally famous as a holiday resort and for its hotwater
spa. Among the many places to visit of historical and artistic interest
you will find the antique Caves of Catullo, the remains of a magnificent
Roman Villa and the Scaligera Rock. Entertainment is plentiful, including
Gardaland and Caneva Water Sports, the opportunity to cruise on the lake,
theatrical evenings at the world-famous Arena di Verona, and for the
nature lovers the Sigurtà Park is a must. |
