Thanks to its favorable position, Sirmione is easily reached by several modes of transportation. In this section you will find information on how to arrive, timetables, and routes. N.B.: Guests of Hotel Olivi receive exclusive vehicle access in Sirmione's historical center.
Sirmione and its historical center can be easily reached by car using Highway (Austostrada) A4 Serenissima, exit Sirmione. In case of traffic, exits Desenzano and Peschiera can be helpful. Once exited from the highway, Sirmione's center can be reached within 15 minutes, traffic permitting.
By train
The closest train stations to Sirmione are those of Peschiera and Desenzano (Milano-Venezia line). Both are about 20 minutes away from Sirmione (we recommend checking out the bus timetable).
By plane
There are two airports situated about 40 minutes from Sirmione's historical center: Verona's Valerio Catullo Villafranca airport and Brescia's Gabriele d'Annunzio Monthichiari airport. Moreover, there is Bergamo's Orio al Serio airport (1 hour and 15 minutes away) and also Milan's Linate and Malpensa airports, plus Venice's Marco Polo airport (these three are about 2 hours away).
